Hey Fam! I Finally Found My Niche!

Let’s dive right into it!

Starting an inspiring athletic line has been one of the many best decisions, I could have made in my life, and in all honesty. I wish, I would have done this a long time ago! The feeling of investing your hard earn money into your own idea is absolutely priceless! The journey has been stressful, overwhelming at times, frustrating, time consuming, and overall REWARDING! There are steps, we took to get too this stage of our journey as business owners. I say “WE,” because Sankofa Athletic Apparel, LP is a limited partnership.

I would like to share a few of the steps we took that could possibly help other aspiring entrepreneurs in the beginning stages.

Step 1: Figuring out the name of the business, vision, and how to execute the vision in the beginning phases.

Step 2: Tons and tons of research, reading, attending workshops, and connecting with mentors.

Step 3: We registered our business name with the state of California https://www.sos.ca.gov/business-programs/business-entities/, and while waiting for the results. I would advise everyone to take their time on completing the paper work.
